AMGC Connect: Good Governance Boosts Manufacturers Competitiveness – Brisbane
About this event
Join AMGC Connect, in partnership with the Governance Institute of Australia (GIA), for a focused workshop helping manufacturers ensure governance practices are compliant, effective and scalable as their businesses grow.
Led by GIA’s David Kelley and held alongside Australian Manufacturing Week in Brisbane, May 12-14, the session draws on his 25+ years’ experience across ASX-listed companies, multinationals and government. David has served as Chief Risk Officer, Chief Audit Executive and Company Secretary, and is a Director of GIA’s postgraduate programs and an independent advisor. He provides practical insights on governance, enterprise risk, culture, regulatory engagement, ESG and sustainability reporting, and the design of three-lines-of-defence frameworks that support strategy execution and resilience.
The session will also feature practical perspectives from manufacturing experts on the value of strong organisational governance in modern manufacturing.
